. 1st January 2021 - New Year in Madeira
The sun was shining in Madeira island and some 200 people participated in the Madeira Plunge, Madeira´s new year´s swim to raise funds for Acreditar. A total of € 470 was raised for Acreditar, who continue to work through these challenging times, supporting children with cancer and their families, including help with psychologists and mental health. 2020 been a different year, with Madeira implementing measures to all arrivals to the island, through the https://madeirasafetodiscover.com/ platform.
Madeira Plunge 2021 - at the Lido We expect to be able to offer the opportunity of a New Year´s swim at the Lido on the 1st January 2021, but we will not have the Unox hats or soup. The Lido will be open between 10h00 -13h00, implementing all the social distancing rules in place. Entrance fee € 2 and additional donations will be donated to Acreditar, as previous years Madeira Plunge 2021 - without being present
- PLUNGE FROM A CAN - For those who wish to participate in the Madeira Plunge without being present, Unox have launched a challenge to "Organize your own New Year´s Plunge - in a can". |
